Summary: Blaine Anderson is a fairly successful lawyer with a boring life. Kurt Hummel is a wanna-be-star-turned-stripper. When they meet at a new club, it’s the beginning of good changes in their life.

Author: SammyItsColdOutside/kloffeetime

Rating: T

Genre: Angst/romance

Summary: Future!Klaine - After a seven year long relationship, Blaine has finally proposed, and Kurt goes for a drive to gather his thoughts. Rated T for slightly rough language. (Like, slightly, slightly)

Blaine smiled.

“I promise, Kurt. I will never let go of you, as long as you don’t beg me to. Because I’ll do anything for you.”

With lips pressed together and thoughts flying undirected, Kurt looked down at Blaine, and at the little box, and on the ring. It was fantastic, it really was, but…

“I-I… J-j-just…” The words he was going to say seemed to climb on top of each other on their way to his mouth.

Blaine smiled wider. “Was that a… ‘yes’…?” he asked.

Oh, fu-ck-ing cr-a-p.

“Uh, hm, er!” Kurt held up a finger in the air, and then shook his head violently.

When something very dark and grey seemed to place itself over Blaine’s eyes, Kurt could not look at him any longer. He raised from his chair, with his glance at the door.

“Excuse me” he said. “I-I need some… alone time. Mhm?”

When he turned around, he did have time to see Blaine’s reaction, but he was really not tempted to, either. The only thing he needed right now was a moment for himself. Get himself together. Breathe, take it easy, think about what was happening and why, and so on.

One could have thought that the household’s only bedroom (who he obviously shared with Blaine. They shared the same bed too. Wonderful, for getting the private times you need) would be the perfect place to sit down and just think. That was though, completely wrong, because the whole room smelled of roses. Not so remarkabe maybe, considering that the morning had started with the same smell, when Blaine woke Kurt up by reaching to him, the biggest flower bouqet he had ever seen with his own eyes. About fifty bright red roses.

Already at then, Kurt should have understood that something was different, or at least that something had happened behind those dark, bushy eyebrows.

He had barely noticed that he was about to go, before Kurt found himself slam the front door shut behind him. In his hand, he squeezed the car keys. For a moment he stood there, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. For a moment he considered what he was actually doing.

I’m about to drive away from the man of my life, who just proposed to me.

Okay.

Let’s go then.

With determined steps he walked to the garage. He knew they only had one car, and that it was as much Blaine’s car as it was his own, but it could not be helped. Right now, the only thing he needed was to get away from there as fast as possible. To think of something else was not an option.
—-

After a car drive that Kurt would have valued to about three hours long, his cell phone rang.

Super good. I brought that too.

With a quick glance at the car’s clock, he learned that he had only been driving for twenty minutes. It had been pressured minutes, and he had managed to build up a list in his head of about twenty-eleven reasons to not turn around and drive back.

Kurt breathed and continued to stare at the road in front of him. Sure, he could feel his heart beat so hard it seemed as if it actually started to get tired of living in his chest, and sure, he could not recall ever feeling this stressed out and feverish before - not even before a performance - but so what? He was not going to be in a car accident for that. He still knew he needed to keep his eyes on the road.

The cell phone continued to ring.

Actually he did not want to answer it. It was just when the sound died that he realised why he should have done it. He could recognise that it was time to make a new list.

There he sat, Kurt Hummel, in a car that was only partly his own. One point to why he should have answered.

His boyfriend since soon to be seven years had been perfect the entire day. Another point.

In the evening he had been proposed to by mentioned boyfriend. One more point.

The ring had been undescribably beautiful, Blaine had been even more beautiful, and the roses had been precisely as beautiful. The points started to become very many.

The cell phone started to ring once again. He knew who it was that called, and this time he had no arguments for letting it keep ringing for much longer. Unwillingly, but persisently, he started to make a list of reasons not to answer the phone.

He was stressed out and therefore not in the right condition for talking to somebody. Through fleeing the whole wonderful scene Blaine had created, Kurt had made a complete fool of himself. And the returning reason - the car was not entirely his own. It was frightening to think of what woud happen if he answered the phone and then just went home again.

The ring tone stopped to ring once again.

Once again, Kurt regretted that he had not answered it. What was he doing - this was not what he had wished for. Was it not he who had planned his own wedding since he was little? Was it not he who had been worried about Blaine not even wanting to get married? Was it not he who longingly had admired Rachel’s engagement ring, only a couple of weeks ago?

There was something crazy that had happened in Kurt’s head, and he had no excuse for letting it continue.

With yet another deep breath, and a calm but steady glance in front of him, he decided to answer the next call.

Impatiently he started to wonder exactly what he would say when he answered.

Hi. Excuse me, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have flipped like that. I’ll be back really soon. See you in a half an hour.

Would that be enough? He would come again, and Blaine would ask him again, and he would say yes. The whole world would smell like love red roses and engagement. It would be wonderful.

The road started to feel infinite in front of him.

When was he going to call again?

Kurt looked at the car clock again. Yet another twenty minutes had passed since he looked last time. How long ago was it since the cell phone ringed last time? That he could find out, but that would mean he would have to stop the car and pick up the phone to look it up.

It was terrifying. Why was he so scared?

A little further.

But after another five minutes, the phone had not rung a third time. The time went by slowly, and Kurt began to feel awfully desperate.

His attention seemed to take a break for the second time in only a couple of hours, and when it woke up again, he had parked his car in front of some sort of grocery store. His cell phone was in his hand.

Before Kurt had the time to change his mind, he found Blaine’s number and pressed call. Even though there was an incredible lot of voices in his head, and so many impulses in his body who fought against what he was doing, he pressed the phone to his ear and waited.

This will probably take way too long, just because I’m having such a fantastic - fantastic! - day.

After a half - yes, a half - signal, somebody answered on the other end.

“Kurt! Kurt, are you all right?” asked a worried and heart-breaking voice.

Kurt exhaled. “Blaine” he said. “I’m all right.” With all the courage he could bring out of himself, he added: “How are you?”

When they really started to talk, it felt like the clock in the car stopped, the sounds outside was silenced, and everything, time, stopped. But he could feel that it took a long time, so very long time.

“I want to come home” said Kurt.

He had walked out of the car, and leaned against one of the doors, with his eyes nailed to the asphalt that his feet unsteadily held him up on.

“I want to come home” he repeated, “and I want to make this all okay.”

He could hear Blaine take a deep breath. “It would be wonderful” said Blaine without relief. “It would really, but I’m not sure if it would be… simple.”

That, Kurt did not answer. He just waited, and he knew that the man on the other side of the line understood that he wondered.

“You’re saying it like it would be easy to fix, Kurt” said Blaine with a voice that made every single cell in Kurt’s body suicidal and wanting to disappear or transform into little pieces of hair. “But this… Sorry.”

“Why are you saying you’re sorry?” mumbled Kurt. He wondered not as much as he tried to make the tears not reach his voice.

“I feel awful right now” sighed Blaine, but seemed to start over. “No, okay, you know what? Come home. We can talk more then, or we could just take it easy - eat, watch a movie, whatever.” He paused. “Is that fine?”

Kurt nodded, even though he knew nobody saw it. “It’s really fine.”
—-

Never had Kurt thought that he would yell as much as he did that night.

It was proved though, that he had that possibility, and he used it during the worst fight he had ever been in.

“You never think about me!”

“Never think about you? I do everything to make you feel good, Blaine!”

“Oh really? So that’s how you make me feel good? You leave me when I’m proposing to you! Absolutely, Kurt! You are so right - I feel so much better now that I understand that you don’t want to be with me!”

“Don’t want to be with you - what are you talking about? I have never said anything like that! Are you completely insane?”

“For every word that’s coming out of your mouth, I feel so much better! Thank you so much!”

“You are so incredibly immature! Do you think that helps, or what?”

Of this sort, the discussion continued for two hours - neither more nor less - before Blaine fell down in an armchair. Even though the fight had started the very moment Kurt stepped in to the hallway, they had moved around through the whole house, and their final destination was exaclty here - in the living room.

“Are you really tired of me?” asked Blaine without looking at the other.

To answer that question, Kurt needed to consider if the fight over. He realised it seemed like it was, and picked his words carefully.

“No” he said. “I have never been tired of you.”

“But you said that before” claimed Blaine with wrinkled eyebrows. “That you were…” he shrugged, “tired of me and ‘my stupid ideas’.”

“Please, I didn’t mean it that way” said Kurt. “I don’t think I can manage to keep fighting any more.”

He realised how tired he was, and how exhausting it was to yell for hours, and think of things to yell and feel things at the same time.

Blaine’s lips pressed into a tense grimace, but then he seemed to relax. “We don’t have to” he said, and raised from the arm chair to stand in front of the other.

“I’m sorry I scared you.”

Kurt nodded. “I’m sorry I ruined everything.”

As if they both knew exactly what would happen thereafter, they fell into each other’s arms in a - at first, warm - embrace. Soon Kurt could feel how Blaine’s grip of him became grimmer, as if desperate. It made him worried.

“Come” he mumbled.

They let go of each other, and barely had Blaine looked up, before he was led away to the couch, where Kurt laid down. “Come” he repeated.

“There’s no space for me” noted Blaine. “It’s a simple couch, you can’t-“

“Come” said Kurt once more.

As if it was that repetition he needed, Blaine sat down on the edge of the couch.

“Lay down with me” offered Kurt. “I want to tell you something.”

Slowly, but without thinking, Blaine laid down beside him, facing and with eyes set on his.

“Tell me” whispered Blaine.

“There’s space for you” whispered Kurt back.

Blaine nodded. “Yes, but we couldn’t really lay here and sleep, ‘cause-“

“There will always be space for you beside me” interrupted Kurt. “I will always be prepared to move a little bit, so you can be as close to me as possible.”

He could see how tears was born in Blaine’s eyes in just a moment, and how they started to run diagonally down his cheeks. With shaking hands and shivering breathes, Blaine’s face found it’s place closer to Kurt’s, and with the smell of salt water tingling in his nose, Kurt returned an eager kiss.

Blaine gave him new kisses all the time, and soon it seemed like it was only a waste to breath - this was so much more important than anything else. Even though air never really reached Kurt’s lips before Blaine’s mouth did, he was at least as excited about ignoring it as the man beside him was.

Unfortunately their kissing had a break, and between it, Kurt automatically took in a very deep and very soundly breathe, which made Blaine giggle uncontrolledly. The air Kurt had breathed disappeared again, when he also began to laugh, and with eyes set on each other, they smiled more widely than any laughter would ever make them smile.

“Kurt Hummel” whispered Blaine with his voice drained in tears and laughter.

“Yes?” whispered Kurt back, his voice still broken from yelling, and filled with laughter.

“Will you make me the honor of…” Blaine swallowed, and seemed to change his mind.

Kurt saw how Blaine’s eyes penetrated his. It seemed to be some sort of check. Blaine started over.

“Kurt Hummel” he whispered.

“M-hm?” mumbled Kurt, and could not feel less excited as than child on Christmas’ Eve.

But yet another time Blaine paused. He placed a hand on Kurt’s cheek, and for a brief moment he stroke it.

“Marry me.”

Kurt’s eyes teared up instantly, but Blaine looked at him with a hopeful and tense glance.

“M-hm” Kurt almost whimpered, and nodded.

“Was that a ‘yes’?” asked Blaine carefully, but his eyes said he already knew the answer.

“Yes” answered Kurt. “Yes, it was.”

When they kissed again, it was not desperate and alarming any more. It was very much alike another kiss they had shared, during their time at Dalton Academy, when they still had been unsecure, but also incredibly in love. Their first kiss had been fantastic, and it had triggered so much relief - this they had been waiting for - but also pointed them into the future.

Seven years later, they laid there - Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson - in a couch where two lying people actually did not have enough space, and they kissed as if every new kiss was their first.

Breakfast Laughter and Somewhere Only We Know - kloffeetime

Title: Breakfast Laughter and Somewhere Only We Know

Author: SammyItsColdOutside/kloffeetime

Rating: T

Summary: Blaine was There. He’d been very close before, but now he’s definitely There. The only problem was, he didn’t know it. (Takes place during Kurt’s time at Dalton)

Never before had Blaine Anderson been in this kind of situation. Sure, he had been close - really close, actually - but not ever so much… there.

He was there now, though. At first he hadn’t been sure, but now he knew. He was definitely there.

There was a place where everything was different from his usual life. You know, he had the morning routine, then classes, then maybe Warblers practice and if he felt like it, a cup of coffee with Kurt or Wes.

Being There, though, all these things changed - all the simple things became not so simple any more.

When Blaine woke up, his eyes were either glued shut for what seemed like forever with morning eyes-glue, or they opened exactly when the alarm went off, and his entire world became very much HD instantly.

After that, it was pretty much the same, not depending on any thing before. He took a shower, put on his uniform after brushing his teeth and went down to eat breakfast with his friends.

This was where the difficult and new part began.

Wes and David said their good mornings to him first, and then, when Blaine had sat down, he exchanged greetings with the other boys around the table. Of course, something was different. Not as it always had been.

“Good morning, darling” said Kurt and began pouring coffee into Blaine’s mug. “Did you sleep well?”

And then they’d all laugh, because Kurt was funny - funny since they weren’t a couple or anything, yet he acted like they were. It was probably just a friendly way of provoking somewhat existent prejudice for Kurt, although Blaine enjoyed it very much. It made him happy to have that attention.

See, there’s a difference between attention and attention - Blaine Warbler had a lot of attention, because he was pretty popular in his school; the lead singer in the Warblers and all. Then again, he never really got that kind of attention that says I have feelings for you and I care about you, whether romantically or not.

Blaine wanted that attention.

Only Kurt gave it to him, for a couple of minutes during breakfast. And only as a joke- of course.

After the breakfast, and watching Kurt’s acting talent wake everybody up, they went to their classes. The day begun, and Blaine wasn’t sure he liked that part.

Wednesdays were fine. He had Biology with Nick and Trent then. And Kurt.

Tuesdays were a little better, because then, Blaine had French with Wes. Yeah, and Kurt too.

He preferred Fridays though, when he had three lessons with- well, with Kurt.

They had become very good friends, and Blaine was glad. Kurt seemed to feel safe with him and the other Dalton students - they were all pretty much friends, and, well, the more the merrier.

Sometimes, though, Blaine felt like being alone with Kurt. It was a whole other experience when they simply sat in Blaine’s dorm at night. Midnight was just around the corner, and they talked about everything. Kurt would be so honest, and Blaine would simply love to listen to everything he had to say.
—-

One day, a Friday afternoon, when most students were getting ready to go home for the weekend, Blaine sat in his bed at Dalton. Maybe he thought about things, maybe he just sat there, because it was weird that everyone went home besides himself. However, someone knocked at the door to his dorm three times.

Blaine already stood up when he saw a note slide under the door - which probably meant there wasn’t any reason to open. He simply went and picked it up.

It said:

I know your secret!

- W

Naturally, Blaine’s mind went all “WHAT? HE KNOWS MY SECRET? OH MY GOD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?”

Then he realized, he really didn’t have any secrets. Considering it was Wes who had written the note, Blaine wondered, but couldn’t remember anything he had kept secret from Wes. They were actually quite good friends, and had been for a long while. Blaine told him almost everything worth telling.

From: Blaine Warbler

Hey, what’s this secret

I have that you’re not

telling me about?

A couple of minutes later, still looking at the note with thoughts swirling around in his head, Blaine felt his inner pocket vibrate - a text.

From: Wes Warbler

Oh, nothing. I just

had a talk with W.

Kurt, but now that

you mention it,

you probably don’t

have a secret.

Silly me.

And Blaine just felt even more confused.

About half an hour later, he decided to call Wes, because he still didn’t feel like going out to the hallway to watch every other friend leave.

“Good afternoon, Warbler Bl-“

“What’s this about, Wes?” interrupted Blaine.

He could hear Wes smile on the other end of the line.

“What do you mean - the note or the talk I had with Kurt?”

Blaine sighed. “You know which one” he said.

There was a short silence, and Blaine knew what he had to do.

“Please-please-please tell-me-tell-me-tell-me what you talked to Kurt about and what did he say and what did you say and did he mention me and is he really going away this weekend?”

Wes chuckled. “Yeah, he is” he said. “Other than that, it’s between me and him. Although… no, never mind.”

Oh, for Christ’s sake-

“What’s my secreeeet?” pleaded Blaine. “And also, I wanna know what he said. Tell me. Pleaaase?”

Wes chuckled once more.

“I bet you will figure it out” he said. “I have to go now, but why don’t you have yourself a little thinker? And thank me later.”

Oh yeah, Blaine was There alright, although he had no idea whatsoever how he had gotten There. He had no idea what There meant.

Of course, that was for him to discover, during this “thinker” Wes had told him about.

Sure enough, Blaine sat down on his bed again and thought.

Something was different.

When did it stop being not different?

…oh, that’s right.

And what was different, really?

…oh, that’s right.

What made it so different?

…oh.

That’s right.

There was a place where people like Blaine found themselves, when they were in love with someone, but didn’t realize it.

There was where all the scared people went, before relaxing and telling everyone, no matter the story.

And Blaine sure was There, and he had been since the very first time he had laid his eyes on Kurt Hummel.

And that’s the story about how Kurt payed Wes to help Blaine understand that he was in love. Very much so.

Defining Love and Wedding Speeches - kloffeetime

Title: Defining Love and Wedding Speeches

Author: SammyItsColdOutside/kloffeetime

Rating: T

Genre: Romance

Summary: This fic was just an excuse to write the Kliss scene in detail from Blaine’s POV. And some future!Klaine on that.

Blaine was sure.

No, he was more than that – he was completely determined about his feelings for Kurt Hummel, because if not one certain performance of “Blackbird” hadn’t done it, then Blaine didn’t know what would.

Actually, it had probably mostly laid under the surface and waited to break loose; to come out and slap him right in the face and say: “It’s him you’ve been looking for, Blaine. Stop pretending you don’t already know!” And now it had happened, too, and maybe it was a little ridiculous that Blaine actually was slightly astonished. Even though he couldn’t recognize a teenager in love if he was offered to sleep in that person’s bed – which, embarrassingly enough, had happened – Blaine knew love when he saw it.

He knew that love wasn’t something that sneaked by to later disappear. Love was- it was-

A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person; a feeling of personal attachment or profoundly affection to a parent, child or friend; sexual passion or desire.

To feel love or affection for; to feel a deep liking for; to need.

That was love. If you looked it up in a dictionary.

Even though Blaine wasn’t sure he liked the thought of defining love, it was much like how he felt.

Define love. Hm.
—-

He had prepared himself more than what probably was possible. Despite he was prepared, Blaine yet didn’t feel- ready. The nervousness filled his bloodstream, and made his entire inside bubble when he began to walk to the common room. There was Kurt.

Kurt was there.

Was there, was Kurt.

Precisely.

In situations like the one that Blaine was in at the moment, you should take a deep calm and breath down.

No, that was completely wrong. He had simply forgot what it took to seem at least somewhat mentally stable.

But then again, he wasn’t really, right now.

Absolutely too soon, he stood in front of the common room’s entrance. On the other side of that doorway was a very important person, and Blaine was now on his way to make a complete fool out of himself in front that person. It felt- special.

At a table closer to one of the windows, sat Kurt alone. He was leaned over some sort of box, and on the table’s surface he had spread out what seemed to be little rocks and shells.

“What’s that?” asked Blaine carefully, because he didn’t want to reveal his nervousness with a shaky voice

He stepped into the room and took some steps closer to the table where Kurt sat.

When he heard the question, Kurt looked up. He identified Blaine and looked down on his box again.

“I’m decorating Pavarotti’s casket” he answered with a light sigh.

Blaine had a very short moment, in which he looked down on the boy at the table. A sudden emotion and impulse hit him very hard, and Blaine decided to begin what he had rehearsed at least thirty times in his head.

“Well, finish up” he said and took one last step forward to lean his hand against a chair. “I have the perfect song for our number, and we should practice.”

Did that sound good? Was it okay? Didn’t it go a little too fast?

It had probably sounded horrible. Control Z, Control Z, Control Z!

“Do tell.” Kurt looked up with a curious smile. It was obvious that he still was very excited to have been selected for something as big as a duet.

Blaine swallowed. This was a bad idea. It was terrible. Urgh. Why had he chosen that song?

Sadly, he couldn’t turn around now. Time to swallow the pride.

“‘Candles’” he confessed and dared to meet Kurt’s eyes, “by Hey Monday.”

But Kurt’s smile was still there.

“I’m impressed” he said and actually seemed to mean it. “You’re usually so Top 40.”

Blaine smiled. “Well, I just wanted something a little more emotional” he said.

Stupid. How silly was this, really? How could those words ever have sounded good in his head?

In lack of any other ideas, he leaned both hands against the table top. Then he changed his mind, and although his entire emotions system loathed him for it, he sat down on the chair beside Kurt’s.

It became silent between them for a while, a way too long while, and Blaine looked down on the table. The thoughts began to swirl around like never before. He was almost completely sure that he would lose his thread soon.

“Why did you pick me to sing that song with?”

He looked up, and Kurt gave him a genuinely curious expression.

It felt as if their eyes burnt into each other, and Blaine tried as quickly as possible to process the question he had just got.

Why, was the question.

Why is Blaine in love with Kurt?

Define love.

It was time for that now, and Blaine knew it. He teared his eyes away from Kurt and remembered the words he had written down ten times before deciding to actually go here and do it.

All or nothing.

“Kurt” he said slowly. “There is a moment- when you say to yourself- Oh, there you are!”

This didn’t feel silly, but Blaine also realized that this wasn’t what he had written down. No matter how cliche it might have seemed- the words came directly from his emotions systems, och out between his lips.

It felt right.

“I have been looking for you forever” he said and met Kurt’s eyes once more, because that was what he had craved during the short moments their eyes had been apart.

As if automatically, and a little sneakily, Blaine let his hand form around the hand Kurt had laid on the table between them. For a moment, they both looked at their own hands.

“Watching you do ‘Blackbird’ this week-” continued Blaine and felt how the very last of the nervousness was replaced with excitement, “- that was a moment for me.”

He swallowed.

“About you” he added.

Kurt blinked, and his eyes were so very blue, and Blaine stuttered, he knew that, but he just wanted to get it all out at once.

“You move me, Kurt” he said. “To sing this duet with you would just be an excuse to spend more time with you.”

Blaine’s voice sunk and became more careful, softer, when he felt there wasn’t really much more to add, och now it was Kurt’s turn.

He didn’t know for sure what he had been expecting, but Kurt’s eyes seemed to say something very positive, even though they didn’t smile. They were-inviting.

You say you should control your impulses, and maybe that was true. Last time Blaine followed and impulse, he had almost began dating a girl – it had ended well, though, but it was hardly a good experience.

Can impulses take over one’s entire mind and thought system and burn down all sensible thoughts that says: “you can’t do this to hi, what if it isn’t real” and “you’re misinterpreting the situation”?

Apparently.

Carefully, but at the same time very hurriedly, Blaine leaned forward to Kurt. It felt, all of a sudden, like magnets pulled them together, as if he hadn’t been able to sit back on the chair even if he had wanted to.

Barely had Blaine felt new, Somebody Else’s breaths against his lips, before it happened – a Kiss.

How do you best describe a kiss, or rather, that kiss?

It was the Superman of kisses. It came with it’s own cape.

Blaine’s hand rested on Kurt’s cheek and it took him so much willpower not to press his face harder against Kurt’s, if possible.

At first it was fantastic, because he was actually kissing Kurt.

Then it was unbelievable, completely madly spectacular, because Kurt actually kissed back.

They kissed.

Kissed they did.

Thoughts cleansed away together with worry and insecurity, when suddenly a hand that couldn’t have been anyone else’s than Kurt Hummel’s, was placed on Blaine’s cheek. That hand was warm, and fit there like- like a last, missing puzzle piece.

It was as if Kurt suddenly tried to kiss Blaine harder than he could, and it became tense everywhere in Blaine’s body. His stomach appeared to have been transformed into a gigantic breeding establishment for butterflies, his hand itched to touch Kurt more, and-

The kiss ended, and Blaine slowly leaned back in his chair, as Kurt’s hand more or less fell to the table.

Kurt’s facial expression reflected what they probably both felt – pleasant surprise.

Slightly embarrassed, Blaine pushed out a short laughter, more like a breath’s chuckle. In an attempt to calm down his big, joyful stomach butterflies, he leaned his face against his hand, but changed his mind.

“Um, we should-” he laughed briefly again, “we should practice.”

He peeked at Kurt for confirmation, but realized that wasn’t really what he was going for.

Kurt smiled widely and somewhat insecure.

“I thought we were.”

Suddenly, their lips was pressed against each other again, and Blaine couldn’t for his life remember how it had happened, but he knew that it would take an awful lot to bring him out of the situation again.

Kurt’s hand was in place again, and pushed Blaine’s face against his own over again, and it was fantastic, it was exciting, it was sexy, and it was indescribably lovable.

—-
Kurt stared at Blaine with doubt in his eyes.

“You can’t read that” he said, somewhat scared in a way. “I don’t want my whole family to know how it feels to- kiss me-“

His voice died down on the end, and Blaine smiled widely.

“Maybe not” he said. “What do you think I should tell them about then?”

Kurt shrugged. “We’ve had lots of winderful, romantic moments. Pick one that doesn’t involve detailed descriptions of my lips and my kissing technique.”

He gave Blaine a teasing expression and peeked down on his own notebook.

Blaine moved away to the couch, where Kurt sat, and leaned his head against his boyfriend’s shoulder.

“What have you written about?” he asked.

Kurt gave him an annoyed look and covered his text with his hand. “Nothing” he said. “I’m still thinking.”

Blaine nodded and placed a hand on Kurt’s arm. He then let his fingers wander, slowly, slowly, along the arm and up to Kurt’s neck.

“You want to take a break?” he offered.

“For what?” asked Kurt with a slightly shaking voice, because where Blaine’s fingers were now, there was a spot that seemed to make Kurt regret his After The Wedding promise sometimes.

Blaine stroke his neck. “I want to cuddle a little” he said.

“We have lots to do, Blaine” protested Kurt. “We have three weeks – three weeks – to write these speeches and- ohhhhh!”

Blaine kissed his neck gently, and he smiled against Kurt’s skin.

“There’s more where that came from” he mumbled.

Kurt had already put his notebook away before Blaine had ended the sentence.

“You are horrible” he hissed as he tensely stroke Blaine’s hair. “You are such a teaser.”

“Do you want to hear what I’m going to do with you on or wedding night-?” hummed Blaine and felt a dull growl inside Kurt’s throat.

“No.”

Blaine picked up Kurt’s left hand and began to play with the engagement ring. “I’ll carry you in, bridal stile, of course-“

“You better” said Kurt.

“-then” continued Blaine, “I will throw you on the bed, and you’re going to wish you hadn’t chosen that suit, because I will tear it off you like-“

“Oh, shut up!”

Blaine laughed and kissed Kurt’s ring.

If he changed the details a little, he would surely be able to tell their wedding guests about that one time when he gathered all his courage and Confessed His True Love for the man beside him. Because, although they might not have started at the same time, This had indeed began just then, and it been so official it almost hurt.

“I love you” mumbled Blaine against Kurt’s hand.

“And I love you” whispered Kurt. “But not enough to break my virginity vow.”

Their eyes met.

“Crap” said Blaine with a chuckle.

I'm Not Gonna Teach Him How To Dance With You - kloffeetime

Title: I’m Not Gonna Teach Him How To Dance With You

Rating: M for later chapters, but as of the moment it is a K+

Genre: AU

Summary: Set in the late Victorian era, England. Magic is all around us as children, though we are fast to forget as we mature into adults. What if some of us can reach back into that magic & hold on? A magical connection is all that’s needed.

“When we were in our youth, we had dreams that we could fly. We had friends that were invisible, and love that never died. And as we grew old, and felt the pain, we always knew the truth: that love would heal if we stayed true to the dreams of our youth.” - ‘Our War’, Neon Trees

Excerpt:

“I know lots of things. I know you’re Penny’s cousin, and that you’ve existed for eight years, and that you love storybooks.”

“But how do you know all of these things?” Blaine suddenly felt very vulnerable. The fairy shrugged.
“I hang about the manor often. More so since you arrived.”
“Why?”
“Gods, you do ask multiple questions, don’t you?” Blaine blushed and the fairy jumped down nimbly from the branch he was sat on. “You’re new. You caught my attention. Plus, you’re such an adorable little thing.” He poked Blaine’s nose and laughed, then did an airborne back flip.
“You talk to me like you’re an adult. Stop that! You’re just a boy!” The fairy sighed, drifting back in front of Blaine.
“I’m sorry. You’re right. I am still young, in fairy years.”
“How old is that?”
“I’m twenty in human years,” the fairy exclaimed proudly, puffing out his chest. Blaine gawped.
“But that’s so OLD!”
“Perhaps to you. But fairy time is very different to human time. One human year to us is like half a year to you. I’m about ten in fairy years, if I had to calculate it like that. We can live for hundreds of years, though. The first few years of our life are very fast, but our growth slows down ever so much when we get older.”
“Oh, okay…but…I still…you can fly!” The fairy squealed excitedly and zipped up into the sky, then back down again.
“That I can.” He shook his wings and Blaine leant his arm out, but hesitated when the fairy shifted. He looked up into his eyes. The fairy looked thoughtful, then nodded. Blaine extended his arm, running his fingers across the surface. The fairy shivered. The wings felt like silk, and shimmering dust fell onto Blaine’s fingers with every stroke.
“Be careful,” the fairy warned. “They’re extremely delicate.” Blaine withdrew his hand. “And very sensitive.”
“Sorry…wait…you can control the wind, can’t you…?” Blaine had so many questions. They were packed inside his brain, desperate to be answered. In response, the fairy flicked his wrist and a gust of wind made the tree shake.
“The air,” the fairy corrected. “I’m a Sylph.”
“What’s that?”
“I’m an air fairy. That’s the name for us. We are the Sylph.”
“Do you have a name? A name that’s just your own?” The Sylph went invisible, then appeared in the tree once more.
“You won’t be able to pronounce it.”
“Can’t you shorten it?” The Sylph looked at him contemplatively, then exhaled and swung from the branch by the backs of his knees. His upside-down face blinked at Blaine. A smile stretched onto his lips.
“Kurt. You can call me Kurt.”
